Away boost for Owls

With this weekend's vital trip to Crewe selling out a 2400 allocation in a matter of days, Paul Sturrock knows that Wednesdayites will be following his team as they bid to survive in the championship.

A postal allocation for Easter Monday's long trip to Brighton sold around 900 tickets in a few hours and that game comes two days after the Norwich home game - where The Owls are rolling out their 'kids for a kid' promotion - guaranteeing a good crowd.

But after 4600 seats were taken up on Monday for the season finale at Pride Park, County provided The Owls with more tickets which sold out today.

Needless to say, the club are advising fans who have not got tickets for the Crewe, Brighton or Derby games not to travel to the ground in question.
