Battle to beat the drop-2 games to go

Sheffield Wednesday travel to Leicester City on Saturday with their fate still in their own hands as two wins from the final two games will guarantee Championship football at Hillsborough next season.

However, with the Owls currently occupying the third and final relegation place, they will be hoping that other clubs around them slip up this weekend, especially if they don't get the desired result at the Walkers stadium.

Southampton face the toughest task of all the strugglers this weekend but they will at least know just how important their game will be with regards to the table as they do not play until Monday night. The Saints, who sit just 1 point and 1 place above the Owls, travel to WBA, who are currently top of the Championship and, depending on Saturday's results, will be in line to clinch promotion or possibly even the Championship title in what will be their final home game of the season.

Leicester will be safe if they can beat the Owls but a Wednesday win would push the Foxes below them in the table going into the final round of games.

Barnsley have relied on their home form for the vast majority of their points this season and will fancy their chances at Oakwell against a Charlton side with little more than pride to play for having failed to make the play-offs.

Norwich also have a home game against inconsistent QPR while Coventry, who are also 3 points above the Owls, face a tough game against local rivals Wolves, who are desperate for victory themselves in their bid to keep their play-off aspirations alive.

A Wednesday win would see them climb out of the bottom three and give everyone associated with the club a lift going into the final game at home to Norwich but if the Owls were to lose and all the other results go against them then they could be relegated on Monday evening.
