Bullen - we can't lose focus - exclusive

Draws away to Bournemouth, MK Dons and Barnsley have kept Wednesday on a roll but their winning momentum seems to have gone, away from home at least.

And with six points taken from the last possible twelve, Bullen is hoping the club can turn draws into victories in a bid to hopefully challenge the top two.

He told Footymad: "The manager said that draws kill you in this league and he is absolutely true. Three out of the last four games we have played have been draws so that is six points dropped so the difference those points could make may determine what division we are in next season."

The Scottish defender though is still adamant that Wednesday are doing the right thing - and the way the club are able to grind out results now is a massive change to the side which took the field at the start of the season.

He added: "From a selfish point of view as a defender, it was very good to get another clean sheet (at Barnsley). We did the dirty things by getting our bodies in front of the ball when we needed to and Lucas wasn't really troubled much, something we have done well recently.

"Barnsley are a lively side and they will cause other teams problems so we were happy with the clean sheet but disappointed with the final outcome of the game."
