Burton to take on England

Owls striker Deon Burton has been called into the squad to face Sven Goran Eriksson's men for the Raggae Boyz and will start after Watford hitman Marlon King was sent home for a breach of disapline.

Now Burton, one of the most consistent performers towards the end of the season at Hillsborough, is set to start against Beckham, Gerrard, Terry and company.

But if it was not for the King incident, Burton would have gone home to relax and look forward to next season.

He told the club's official site: "Obviously I can't wait to go back to Old Trafford. I haven't played there for a few years so it will be nice to go back. "It's an excellent chance to put my name back out there and represent Sheffield Wednesday with a good performance if I start."
