Can Owls bring away form home?

Sheffield Wednesday face Reading at Hillsborough on Saturday and Stuart Gray will be keen for his team to carry their away form on to home turf. The Owls have won 3 and drawn 1 on their travels in the Championship so far this season but they are yet to win in the league at home with 2 draws and 1 defeat to date.

Gray may opt to field the same side that won 2-0 at Birmingham on Tuesday evening. Right-back Lewis Buxton I back in the squad after recovering from injury but wit Liam Palmer performing well in his absence Gray may choose not to tinker with what has been a successful defensive unit so far. On loan winger Royston Drenthe is not eligible to play against his parent club.

Reading travel north in good form having won 3 games in a row which has lifted them into the top six, one point and two places above their hosts this weekend.

Injured duo Danny Guthrie and Stephen Kelly are close to a return to the fold but with the Royals in good form they may not be risked to start at Hillsborough. The likes of Jem Karacan, Anton Ferdinand and Garath McCleary all remain sidelined.

Reading have had a good recent record against the Owls but Wednesday took steps to rectify that from their perspective last season by winning 5-2 at Hillsborough and they followed this up with a 2-0 away win at the Royals.
