The Owls defender has been told by manager Brian Laws that he can leave Hillsborough even though he still has a year remaining on his contract and he is not ruling out linking up with former boss Paul Sturruck at Swindon.

"A move to Swindon is certainly not something I would rule out," he told the Swindon Advertiser.

"I enjoy playing under Paul, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to work that out.

"If things don't pan out for me at Wednesday maybe I would look for a move away, but a lot of water has to go under the bridge between now and then.

"If I was a betting man, I would say I will be playing under Paul Sturrock again between now and the end of my career. I'm certain of that."
