Debut for new boy

The former Hibernian and Oakwell loanee is set to be thrown in at the deep end with one of Wednesday's young midfielders perhaps being sacrificed.

Paul Heckingbottom returns after his one-match ban and will be itching to get involved against his home-town club - if he comes in at left-back, Adam Green could push up to left wing displacing Chris Brunt, who's form has been mixed recently.

Lee Peacock is set to remain on the bench and Chris Marsden could also be named as a substitute for the second-successive week despite the club captain not playing any reserve games since his knee operation.

The kick-off at Oakwell is 12.00 and The Owls will be roared on by 7,600 travelling Wednesdayites, just over 2000 less than the home crowd's average attendance this season.
