Bannan on the bench following injury

Sheffield Wednesday take on table-topping Wigan Athletic this evening and owls manager Darren Moore has made a number of changes to his starting eleven as he searches for the right formula for success.

Wednesday are without a win in four league games having squandered the lead late on at Ipswich when Peacock-Farrell made a costly error. As Moore said post-match, the Northern Ireland keeper keeps his place but there are changes to the outfield starters. Centre-back Chey Dunkley comes in to face his former club. It remains to be seen whether the Owls will revert to a back 3 as Iorfa and Hutchinson keep their places, Hutchinson may play in midfield if the formation is still 4-3-3. Barry Bannan limped off injured at Ipswich and is only fit enough for a place on the bench tonight.

Shodipo and Berahino also drop to the bench with Brown and Paterson coming into the starting eleven.

Wigan manager Leam Richardson has named an unchanged starting eleven for the fourth successive game as he looks to guide the Latics to a sixth straight win. Wigan are unbeaten at home so far and have not lost a league match since a narrow defeat to Sunderland on the opening day of the season.
