End of season report, Number 8: Burton O'Brien.

To me, BOB, is one of those players who rarely stands out for having a terrible game, nor does he do so for putting in a man of the match display.

Yet another player whose season was disrupted by injury, BOB made 26 starts in the league for the Owls in midfield and save for the Southampton home game and Plymouth away, I can think of few occasions when his performance had a major bearing on the outcome. This, for a player who is picked to create chances from midfield is a disappointing return.

Perhaps if he could have rolled Plymouth Argyle's Home Park pitch up, where he seems to play well every season, and carry it round with him then he would have produced more for the Owls.

Overall season verdict: 6 out of 10. Rarely did enough to have a direct influence on a game.
