Five making recovery progress

Lee Bullen pulled up during the warm down of after the Cardiff defeat with a hamstring problem.

Bullen, who has not started in the league this season, will be the automatic replacement for the suspended Frankie Simek at Watford next Saturday.

Drissa Diallo could also be in contention for the clash at Vicarage Road as Wednesday are crying out for cover for key areas.

Midfielders Steve Adams and JP McGovern are due back in training next week while MacLean is only a month away from making a return from a serious knee injury.

Sturrock told the club's official site: "MacLean is making rapid progress and doing very well. He's around 4-6 weeks ahead of schedule, which means he could be ready by late-December or early-January.

"Adams and McGovern should come back into training next week but we won't be forced into doing anything silly with them."
