International call up for Owls striker
Sheffield Wednesday forward Steven Fletcher has earned a recall to the Scotland squad for the forthcoming internationals. The 31-year-old has been in good form for Wednesday this season, having scored 3 times in his last 8 matches and he has continued to perform well despite the Owls recent drop in form.
Scotland face Albania and Israel later this month as they look to improve their UEFA Nations League campaign. Fletcher has not featured for Scotland since 2017 having been injured for much of the second half of last season.
