Forgotten man ready for action

The second-string stopper, who has made one substitute appearance and one full appearance in his Wednesday career, is set to be the main man between the sticks IF Sturrock does not find experienced cover before tomorrow's 5pm deadline.

Adamson has been patiently waiting for his opportunity to do well for The Owls but even after numerous injuries to David Lucas, the likes of Norwich's Paul Gallacher and most recently Manchester City's Nicky Weaver have come in ahead of him.

Meanwhile Chris Brunt is back in training after a bout of the flu and should be fit for the visit of The Eagles.
