Gaffer happy with point

Goals from Wade Small and Chris Brunt put The Owls 2-1 up but Leon Clarke's brace gave the home side a point although Wednesday will feel hard done by to come away from the midlands with only a point.

Tommy Spurr was carried off though in the final ten minutes as Wednesday had to battle with only ten men because all three substitutes had been used.

McAuley said: "We definitely deserved a point. When we were 2-1 up you'd possibly say it was two points dropped, but the way they battled at the end with ten men pleased me.

"I'm more interested in the performance, I thought they performed really well."
