Owls winger Jermaine Johnson will serve a four-match suspension as a result of his straight red-card against West Brom on Tuesday night.

The length of the ban is due to the fact that Johnson has already been sent off once before this season-away at Watford.

The ban makes him unavailable for the forthcoming fixtures against QPR, Colchester, Coventry and Crystal Palace.

Manager Brian Laws has admitted that he is scouring the country in the hope of bringing a winger in on loan before Saturday's game against QPR at Hillsborough but has refused to be drawn on who is potential targets are.

Wednesday have previously been linked with Adam Johnson of Middlesbrough but Watford have also shown an interest in the player and the fact that he has recently featured in the 'boro first team make this an unlikely move.
