Ladies latest: Owls are record breakers

Sheffield Wednesday marched into the Sheffield and Hallamshire County Cup Semi-Final and broke a club scoring record on the way, after a 26-0 win over Dinnington Town FC.

The Owls have now scored 43 goals in there last 2 games without reply.

In form striker Tanya Rich scored 7 to top of a fine display, while new signing Kez Smith Put 6 away after a sterling performance. There were also goals for Hollie Barker (2), Beth Gingell (2), Mel Sherwood (2), Stacey Emmonds (4) while Rachel Skeemer scored a hat-trick.

Speaking after the game captain Leanne Sevens, paid tribute to the record breaking side and looked forward to next weeks Semi – Final, "I think the girls should be really proud, to beat any record is a great achievement and it just shows how hard we are working and the team spirit we have got. Any Owls and Doncaster Rovers game is a great match and the fact it's a Semi - Final just adds to the occasion. We will go into it in great confidence and believe and we now know if we work hard for each other anything is possible."
