Lee and Lucas on Bees clash - exclusive

The Bees' typical smash and grab raid at Hillsborough in December inspired Paul Sturrock's men to go on a ten-match unbeaten run following the 2-1 defeat to the West Londoners who only had ten men.

But revenge will come down the pecking order in importance as it is imperative Wednesday pick up three points in the game with Brentford hot on the tails of The Owls.

Goalkeeper Lucas told Footymad: "It is a must win but if they said that they deserved to beat us last time out, they’d be kidding themselves but that’s football. On Saturday they could batter us for 90 minutes and we could come out with the points and we will be laughing all the way up the M1.

"I think during the unbeaten run, we were doing what Paul expected of us and if we didn’t, he definitely told us about it. With the best managers, you always have that fear that he will come down on you if you don’t play as well as he would like.

Meanwhile, Lee did not play in the game at home but knows the importance of gaining all three points in what could be called the biggest away game of the season so far.

He said: "I can remember the Brentford game at home; I didn’t play in that one but that game down there is one we have to get a win from. They are pushing for the play-offs and are breathing right down our throats. We can’t let teams start to catch us now as we are in the play-offs and we want to obviously push higher."
