Bannan back in at Birmingham

Sheffield Wednesday manager Garry Monk has once again shuffled his pack in a search for a successful formula as his team travel to St Andrews to face Birmingham City on Saturday.

The Owls were beaten 3-0 at home by Reading last weekend and they are currently on a run of 1 win from 10 league matches. Out of the side that started last Saturday go Nuhiu, Da Cruz and Urghoghide with the latter serving a suspension as a result of his dismissal in the Reading defeat.

In come Bannan, Murphy and Lees. It will be interesting to see how the Owls line up as the starting 11 doesn't include a focal-point striker and they could start with a back-four or 3 centre-backs with wing-backs.

Steven Fletcher is on an attacking looking bench as he nears a return from a 7-week injury lay off. Also available as substitutes are Wickham, Da Cruz and Windass with Fox offering a defensive option and Wildsmith the sub keeper.

Birmingham are unbeaten in their last 6 matches. They are without injured former Wednesday winger Jacques Maghoma but key striker Scott Hogan has passed a late fitness test and is in the starting line up.
