Former Manchester United and England skipper Bryan Robson, Liverpool and England winger John Barnes and Germany's former Bayern Munich and Liverpool defender Christian Ziege have added their names to the England and Germany Legends squads that will face off at Sheffield United's Bramall Lane on Thursday August 7th, live on ITV4.

England v Germany : The Legends Live will pit two teams of former internationals against one another for The Derek Dooley Memorial Cup and to aid The British Red Cross China Earthquake Appeal, kicking off at 7.45pm.

Bryan Robson noted: "Legends football gets more competitive and professional with each passing year. I watched the games at Reading , Milton Keynes and Southampton and they were both great games, full of excitement and goals. It was also worth noting that the grounds were packed full of families enjoying a night out together and cheering England on in a competitive match played in exactly the right spirit."

Robson and Barnes join an England Legends squad, managed by Peter Reid, that already includes Liverpool's Stan Collymore, Arsenal's Paul Merson, Manchester United's Lee Sharpe, Sheffield Wednesday's Des Walker and Sheffield United's Brian Deane.

A formidable-looking Germany Legends squad already includes 1990 World Cup Winner Guido Buchwald, 1986 World Cup final midfielder Matthias Herget, 2002 World Cup final defenders Carsten Ramelow and Marko Rehmer, Spurs' midfielder Steffen Freund, Bolton's cult striker Fredi Bobic, former Bayern Munich defender Thomas Helmer, striker Olaf Marschall and midfielder Norbert Meier.

England will be out for revenge against the Germany Legends at Bramall Lane . The two met at Reading in 2006, Germany running out 4-2 winners. However, this is the first time such a match has been staged between the two groups featuring former international footballers only, absent of celebrities.

England v Germany : The Legends Live is the second time this summer the England Legends will face international opposition. In May, England beat the Scotland Legends 2-0 at St. Mary's Stadium, Southampton , thanks to goals from Collymore and Steve Hodge. The England Legends will face the Irish Legends later this summer.

Tickets for England v Germany : The Legends Live are £10 for adults (over 16) and £5 for OAPs. The Legends have recently introduced a 'Kid-A-Quid' offer which can be booked through the Bramall Lane Box Office on 0871 222 1889. Nationally, tickets are available from www.seetickets.com. Family tickets, which admit two adults and two children are £25, hospitality packages available for £45 per person.
