No defence for Yorath

Danny Maddix has a knee injury and Ashley Westwood suffered a groin injury during a reserves' defeat by Liverpool and could be out for anything up to six weeks.

With the news earlier this week that David Burrows has a broken collar bone and will be sidelined for five weeks, Yorath has placed utility man Craig Armstrong on stand-by for a first team outing in a defensive role.

Better news on the injury front is that Ian Hendon is back training and is available but Shefki Kuqi misses the game with Ipswich has he is on international duty with Finland.

Yorath told the clubs website: "There's a doubt about Danny. His knee has flared up, as it has done over the past couple of weeks.

"Hopefully he'll be fit for the weekend, but Ashley Westwood could be out for six weeks."
