Short trip for Wednesday in July
Sheffield Wedensday have confirmed details of one of their warm-up games for the 2018-19 season - a trip to League Two side Lincoln City.
The Owls will face the Imps on the evening of Friday 13th July with kick-off scheduled for 7.30pm. Lincoln, managed by Danny Cowley, have had a successful couple of years, winning promotion back to the Football League in 2016-17 and following that up in the season just completed with a 7th-place finish in League Two. That position earned them a place in the play-offs but they were beaten by Exeter City in the semi-finals.
The Owls announced last week that they intend to stay in th UK for the duration of their pre-season having spent time in Portugal in recent summers.
