Sheffield Wednesday return to Championship action on Saturday when Watford visit Hillsborough. The Owls last match before the international break was a well contested 1-1 draw at Leeds United and Stuart Gray's side will be looking to record their first win in 5 matches.

Wednesday will be without Chris Maguire due to suspension with Jeremy Helan, Hallam Hope and Royston Drenthe all hoping to step into his wide midfield position.

Central midfielder Sam Hutchinson has returned to training and is in contention to feature following a 2-month injury lay off but central defender Kamil Zayatte misses out due to a hamstring injury.

Watford will be managed by head coach Slavisa Jokanovic for the first time and he could be handed a major boost if striker Troy Deeney is passed fit having recently returned to full training. Fellow front man Fernando Forestieri could also return after a spell out with an eye injury but wide man Ikechi Anya is a doubt having picked up a thigh injury while playing for Scotland.

Wednesday have only lost one at home this season but they have only won one as well and will be keen to improve on that record. Watford have won two and lost rwo of their five way matches so far and this combined with their fine home record puts them in 3rd place in the Championship table, four points above the Owls.

Wednesday won 1-0 at Watford last season thanks to a Connor Wickham goal but were well beaten by the Hornets at Hillsborough in March whenever the visitors continually picked the Owls off on the counter attack and ran out 4-1 winners.
