Sheffield Wednesday are likely to be without their captain Tom Lees on Saturday as he looks to work his way back to full fitness. The centre-back has not featured in the Owls last 4 matches having pulled out of the QPR home game last month during the warm-up with what turned out to be a hamstring injury.

Wednesday Manager Garry Monk stated during he recent press conference that Saturday's fixture at Middlesbrough is likely to come too soon for Lees to be involved but he has stepped up his training schedule and could be in line for a return next week.

The Owls face Hull City away next Tuesday evening before returning to action at Hillsborough when the face Wigan Athletic on Saturday 5th October.
