Palmer to link up with Scotland
Sheffield Wednesday defender Liam Palmer has been included in the Scotland squad for the forthcoming round of international fixtures.
The 29-year-old provided an assist in Scotland’s previous match as they came from behind to beat Czech Republic 2-1 and he will be hoping for more success next month.
Scotland have 3 fixtures in the international break, starting with hosting Israel in the semi-finals of the play-offs for the Euro 2020 final which have been carried over to next summer. They then play two nations league fixtures, also at home, against Slovakia on the 11th and Czech Republic on the 14th October.
