Sheffield Wednesday duo Barry Bannan and Steven Fletcher have both been named in Gordon Strachan's Scotland squad for the opening World Cup 2018 qualifier.
Scotland, paired in the same group as England, kick-off their campaign in Malta on Sunday 4th September.
Midfielder Bannan earned a recall last season on the back of his fine displays for the Owls and he has retained his place. He will be hoping to add to his 21 senior caps to date.
Wednesday striker Fletcher has scored 8 times in 28 games for his country and found the net 7 times during the Euro 2016 qualifying campaign in which Scotland narrowly missed out on a play-off spot after being pipped to 3rd place by the Republic of Ireland.
