Owls face another tough TV test

Sheffield Wednesday face the second tough televised Championship fixture of the season when the travel to face Norwich City at tea time on Saturday.

The Owls could feature striker Steven Fletcher despite the fact he was forced out of last weekends game against Aston Villa in the first half with a nasty gash to his head.

Winger Marco Matias remains sidelined as does defender Glenn Loovens.

Norwich could welcome back captain Russell Martin as he has recovered from a back injury and winger Sergi Canos as well as Ireland international Robbie Brady could also both feature but manager Alex Neill will surely be reluctant to make too many changes after a fine start to the season last Saturday.

The Canaries opened up their campaign with a 4-1 win at Blackburn last weekend, underlining why they are considered to be hotly tipped for an immediate return to the Premier League.

Wednesday were also impressive in beating Aston Villa in their first game but a much-changed Owls team suffered a disappointing extra-time defeat at Cambridge in the League Cup on Tuesday.

Wednesday were beaten 2-0 on their last visit to Carrow Road in 2015 but had won on their previous 4 trips to Norfolk.
