Former Villa attacker makes Hillsborough move
Sheffield Wednesday have today completed their first signing of the January transfer window by adding free agent Andre Green to their ranks.
The 22-year-old was released by Aston Villa at the end of last season having progressed through their academy to represent the first team.
Green spent the first half of the 2018-19 season on loan at Portsmouth where he scored 5 goals in 12 appearances before returning to Villa Park in January. He featured regularly for Villa for the remainder of the season and played in all of their play-off matches as they achieved promotion to the Premier League.
Last season, Green had loan spells in the Championship with Preston North End and Charlton Athletic.
