Sheffield Wednesday’s ‘Owls in the park’ fun day, scheduled for Saturday July 14th has fallen victim to the terrible weather in the region.
The event was due to take place in Hillsborough Park this Saturday but the torrential downpours have meant that the ground has become saturated with more rain expected to fall throughout the week.
The fun day, which includes a wide range of events for kids and adults alike including a showcasing of some of the city’s best up and coming bands, will now take place on Sunday 29th July at the same venue.
The launch of the new Sheffield Wednesday away kit for the forthcoming season will still take place this Saturday at the Owls megastore at Hillsborough stadium with the new design which has yet to be revealed to go on sale from 9am.
