Sheffield Wednesday have today released details on their official website, swfc.co.uk, of season ticket prices for the 2008/09 season.
This has come as a bit of a surprise to some as with the Owls Championship fate still to be decided over the final few games of the season it is as yet unclear which division of competition these prices will relate to.
While there are some deductions on offer and discounts available to certain groups some of the prices, especially for adult renewals seem a little steep.
For example, an adult renewal on the South Stand for next season will cost £515, this compares with £409 for a similar seat at city rivals Sheffield United and if Wednesday do fail to beat the battle to avoid the drop then this price will appear steeper still.
There are however good adult prices available in the family enclosure and highly affordable prices for Under 11's, Under 18's and Under 21's in all areas of the stadium.
