Home shirts on offer for limited period

Sheffield Wednesday’s home replica shirt will finally be available for purchase from Monday 23rd October according to the official club website, swfc.co.uk

The shirt in a design similar to that worn by Wednesday in the 1960’s has been delayed by a number of factors. The owls had initially signed a deal with an unnamed manufacturer earlier in the year but that agreement fell flat forcing the Owls to look elsewhere. The club teamed up with an Australian based company but time constraints were tight at this stage. Wednesday had hoped to have the kit available in time for the Sheffield derby 3 weeks ago but they are now finally in a position to commence sale and stock will be replenished on a regular basis.

The original price of the replica shirt was set to be £59 for adults, £45 for juniors and £35 for infants but due to the delays the club are offering a £10 discount on each category until 30th November.

News on the availability of the away shirt is set to follow soon and the 3rd shirt, designed by an Owls fan, will be worn by the team for the first time in the away game at Aston Villa early next month.
