Owls sell out away allocation again

Sheffield Wednesday's loyal hardcore fans have again underlined their fantastic commitment to the club by selling-out the whole allocation for the away end at Leicester City.

Just over 3,000 tickets were made available to the Owls for the clash at the Walkers Stadium at the end of the month and these were snapped up by Thursday morning.

With the trip to Blackpool also likely to sell-out once the postal ballot for tickets has been dealt with, Wednesday will have sold out 5 of their last seven away allocations this season, taking into account the capacity away crowds at the Sheffield derby, Scunthorpe and Barnsley.

Although the following at Coventry City was not as big as in recent seasons the Owls were still well backed at the Ricoh Arena, as they were at Colchester for the Tuesday evening fixture.

Despite a thoroughly disappointing season following the positive end to the previous campaign the loyal support have continued to give the team fantastic backing and surely deserve much better than what they have been witness to on their travels.

The Owls have won just one of their last 15 away outings in league and cup.
