Sheffield Wednesday’s opponents in the 2nd Round of the F.A. Cup have been confirmed this evening after Aldershot overcame non-league Maidenhead in a 1st round replay.
The two sides drew 1-1 at Maidenhead but the League Two side were able to assert themselves early in the replay on home soil, gaining a 2-0 advantage in the first-half and going on to see out the game by the same score-line.
Aldershot, who currently sit in a mid-table position in League Two, will travel to Hillsborough to face the Owls for a place in the 3rd round of the competition on Saturday 3rd December. Tickets for Wednesday fans are on sale for the Kop and South Stand only priced at £10 adults and £5 concessions.
