Sheffield Wednesday today confirmed the signing of Sunderland winger Will Buckley on a season-long loan.
The 26-year-old will team up with former black cats team mate Steven Fletcher in the Wednesday ranks and will be eager to make a telling contribution having lost his way a little at the north-east side.
Buckley has plenty of Championship experience having enjoyed successful spells with both Watford and Brighton at the turn of the decade.
Since moving to Sunderland in 2014 the winger has played on loan for Leeds United and Birmingham City.
Buckley will wear the number 38 shirt for the Owls this season and is available for selection in the season opener against Aston Villa on Sunday.
