Pressure-free Owls set to make changes

Sheffield Wednesday face Wolves in their final game of the regular season with the pressure off. Having secured a play-off spot by beating Cardiff at Hillsborough last weekend Carlos Carvalhal's side can go into the game with the freedom of not having to get a result and changes are likely to be made to protect the first team players ahead of next week's play-offs.

The likes of Bannan, Loovens, Westwood, Hooper, Lee and Forestieri are among those expected to be given a rest with Semedo, McGugan, Sasso, Wildsmith and Hutchinson in line to feature. Ross Wallace serves the final match of a 3-game ban.

Wolves are without defender Mike Williamson and striker Nouha Dicko as both are injured. The home side will be captained by Danny Batth who had a successful loan spell with the Owls during the 2011/12 League One promotion season.

The Owls have only lost one of their last 10 matches and that was their only defeat in 6 away games. Another clean sheet would see them set a new club records for shut-outs in a single season.

Wolves have only won one of their last 6 matches and their last 4 home games have all resulted in 0-0 draws though they haven't lost any of their last 6 matches at Molineux.

A win for the hosts could propel them to a top-half finish but a defeat may leave them finishing as low as 16th place.

Wednesday cruised to a 4-1 victory against Wolves at Hillsborough in January but they have not won on their last 5 visits to Molineux.
