Ray of light for Sturrock

Striking pair Corr and Tudgay picked up injuries in the pre-season campaign and could be eased in from the bench at Roots Hall while Adams completed 70 minutes in the reserves' 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest yesterday.

Small meanwhile hurt his hamstring at Plymouth and was taken off as a precaution but missed the Leeds game with the problem.

Also Paul Sturrock has had some encouraging news regarding Drew Talbot - the lightning-quick striker is now back running in training following a knee injury.

The Owls do not have a game this weekend because of the international break.
