Royals - Owls agree Owusu deal

The Royals and Wednesday have finalised a financial deal, dependant on their promotion to the Premiership and individual performances.
Wednesdayites have never really seen the best of Owusu following his move north from Brentford, despite making a sensational start to his Hillsborough career by scoring the opening goal against the swine from The Lane after only a minute of coming on as a substitute.
Unfortunately, the striker has suffered injury problems and will be most remembered for being the player who decided to deposit the contents of his stomach, Jackass style, more than once on the field of play!
The Slough-born striker has been linked with a number of southern-based clubs, and it was no secret that he wanted to live closer to his hometown, and now only has to agree personal terms.
Ironically, his best game in a blue and white shirt came against his old club at Griffin Park, where he scored the third goal in a 3-0 victory and caused The Bees’ defenders problems throughout.
Wednesday struck a similar deal with Ipswich Town after carthorse striker Shefki Kuqi signed for the Portman Road outfit after a successful loan spell, and The Owls will get money depending on both the player’s and the club’s future performances.
Meanwhile, Wednesday fielded three trial players in their reserve victory over Hartlepool United – Iranian winger Sharhrooz Naraghi, Wolves midfielder Marlon Walters and Newcastle United defender Chris Carr.
