Season ticket sales soar

Wednesdayites, still buzzing from that great day out in Cardiff last month, have continued to back the club and 12000 fans have already renewed.

The Owls got the best average crowd in the division last season - more than 23,000 and that figure is set to soar even higher following the club's most successful season for years.

Granted, many Wednesdayites have seen better times and promotion to the championship should be a stepping stone for bigger and better things - should the club recruit well and stabilise their debt.

Meanwhile, the new black away kit which was set to go on sale two weeks ago will finally be in the Owls Superstore this weekend.

The original date was scrapped due to a problem with suppliers Diadora.
