Turner, currently in Cyprus enjoying a break away from football, has changed the whole team around by bringing in new faces and only retaining a handful of players.
Sales are up on this point last season which is encouraging for the club, especially after the second-worse league placing in Wednesday's long history.
The club have been running a discount program which has been extended for a further week to encourage more fans to snap up tickets.
Seats are left on the kop but not that many group places with good, central views.
By all accounts though, Wednesday will be in League One next season after the re-branding of the Football League, with the first division being called The Championship. Bizarre indeed.
