Millers Vs Owls: Team news & preview

Sheffield Wednesday face local rivals Rotherham United at the New York Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they look to find their scoring boots following back-to-back goalless draws in the Championship.

The Owls have no new injury worries and although Tom Lees could be ready to return from a shin injury Steve Bruce may be reluctant to change his back four. If Lees does come back in then Jordan Thorniley is likely to make way.

Rotherham manager Paul Warne is also likely to be able to choose from the same squad that the Millers took to Hull City in midweek and earned a good point in coming back from 2-0 down against the in-form Tigers.

Wednesday haven't conceded a goal in their last 4 league games but have only managed to find the net twice themselves in those 4 matches and haven't scored more than 2 in any game this season.

Rotherham are unbeaten in 3 games but all 3 have been draws and they are without a win in 6 having lost their previous 3 matches. All of the Millers 5 wins in the Championship this season have come at the New York Stadium and they have only lost 4 of their 16 home games to date.

The Millers are currently in the bottom 3 but a win would see them climb above Reading while 16th place Wednesday would move within a point of the top half of the table with a victory, for a couple of hours at least. The two sides drew 2-2 at Hillsborough when they last met in December.
