Wednesday lose Bullen appeal

The club captain was harshly sent off against Preston at the weekend and was given a straight red card.

The Owls tried to appeal but unfortunately for the Scotsman, the club failed in their attempts to get the suspension receded and Bullen will now face three matches out after a charge of violent conduct.

His place tonight against The Hatters will be taken by either Kenny Lunt, Sean McAllister and Wade Small with the rest of the team remaining the same.

Glenn Whelan is set to continue in the midfield role in preference to Lunt who so far has not worked hard enough during pre season according to Sturrock.
