Sheffield Wednesday travel south to London to face Charlton Athletic on Saturday as they seek their first Championship win in seven attempts.

Stuart Gray is likely to bring left-back Joe Mattock back into the team after he missed last weekend's 0-0 draw with Norwich dut to serving a one-match ban.

Striker Gary Madine will not feature having joined League One side Coventry on loan during the week but on loan Leicester City forward Gary Taylor-Fletcher will be in contention for a first Owls start having made an appearance as a second half substitute last weekend.

Charlton could welcome back in form striker Igor Vetokele who has missed the last two matches with an achilles injury but Addicks manager Bob Peeters has stressed that they are unlikely to risk playing him from the start as he looks to return to full fitness.

Midfielder Yoni Buyens could return following suspension but fellow midfield man Fred Bulot is likely to be sidelined with an injury until after the international break in mid-November.

Wednesday are without a win in six league games though four of those have been draws. The Owls have lost just once on their travels in the Championship so far this season.

Charlton have won 2, drawn 2 and lost 2 in their last 6 games and those two defeats are their only league defeats of the season. They are unbeaten in 7 games at the Valley this season.

The Owls picked up a point in a 1-1 draw at the Valley last season but lost the last meeting between the two sides 3-2 at Hillsborough in April having gone 2-0 up.
