Sheffield Wednesday face Blackpool at Hillsborough on Tuesday evening looking for three vital points in their bid to steer clear of the Coca-Cola Championship relegation zone.
The Owls will be looking to bounce straight back following the weekend defeat at Nottingham Forest. Despite losing out at the City Ground Wednesday put in a very creditable performance against their promotion chasing opponents and boss Alan Irvine may well choose to keep faith with the same eleven that started that game.
Should he feel that any changes are necessary then Etienne Esajas and Leon Clarke will both come into the reckoning after featuring from the bench against Forest.
Wednesday will be without the services of Tommy Miller, Jermaine Johnson, Francis Jeffers and Lewis Buxton through injury.
Blackpool come to Sheffield with manager Ian Holloway set to ring the changes due to a number of suspension and internal disciplinary issues.
The key absentee is likely to be influential midfielder Charlie Adam who picked up his tenth booking of the season at the weekend and will start a 2-match ban. The Scottish playmaker has been in fine form the season scoring 12 goals to date including one against the Owls when the two teams met at Bloomfield Road last month.
Holloway has also confirmed that three players will be omitted from the squad as a result of a lack of professionalism. Barry Bannan, Neal Eardley and Ishmel Demontagnac were spotted out clubbing in the early hours of Sunday morning following the home defeat to Leicester and have been left out of the side and this was deemed unacceptable behaviour by the Blackpool boss.
The changes to the side could mean that the likes of Ben Burgess, Stephen Husband, Jason Euell and rob Edwards all come into contention for the Hillsborough clash.

However if they were to lose this fixture and other results go against them they could find themselves back in the relegation zone by the end of the night.
Blackpool come into the game struggling for form of late having won just 1 of their last 6 league fixtures, a run that has seen them fall out of the play-off places. They have 3 wins and 5 defeats from 14 away games so far this season.
The two sides met at Blackpool just three weeks ago where the Owls ran out 2-1 winners thanks to second half goals from Tom Soares and Leon Clarke with Charlie Adam notching a last minute consolation for the home side.
