Espanyol to visit Hillsborough
Sheffield Wednesday have announced that their preparations for the 2019-20 season will conclude with a home game against Espanyol.
The Barcelona based La Liga team will visit Hillsborough on Sunday July 28th in a 3pm kick-off against the Owls.
Espanyol finished in 7th place in the Spanish league last season, qualifying for the Europa League qualifying stages as a result.
Wednesday kick-off their Championship season at reading on Saturday 3rd August with near neighbours Barnsley first up at Hillsborough the following weekend.
