Owls striker wanted  by Canaries

Reports in East Anglia suggest that Sheffield Wednesday are wanting a pre-agreed transfer fee from Norwich City for striker Jordan Rhodes.

The Canaries took Rhodes to Carrow Road on a season-long loan deal last summer and although the striker was largely used as a substitute due to the form of top scorer Teemu Pukki he was a popular figure in the squad as they achieved promotion to the Premier League.

Norwich have now expressed in interest in taking Rhodes back on a permanent deal but it said that Wednesday are wanting £7M for the 29-year-old forward - a fee that was apparently agreed as part of the original loan deal. Time will tell if the two club can come to an agreement as this price appears to be beyond Norwich's current valuation.
