Winger warning for travelling Owls - exclusive

The Owls winger, still awaiting his first start in blue and white, knows that the visit to Suffolk will be a daunting one and believes that Paul Sturrock's men should give their all to get anything from the game.

He told Footymad: "Ipswich are a fantastic team and they will be pushing for automatic promotion or at the very least, the play-offs come the end of the season so to go there and get anything from that game then we will take massive plus points.

"They are one of the teams who have played in the Premiership recently so there’s no doubt in thinking they have already adapted to this league and they players they put out on Saturday will be their strongest team and we are going to have to be 100percent up for it to get anything from the match."

Graham Coughlan and Drissa Diallo could be in contention to play, as could Steve Adams in winless Wednesday go into their fourth match of the season.

Burton O'Brien is expected to start and Sturrock has not ruled out Partridge to make his full debut after scoring in an impressive reserve display against Walsall midweek.
