Sheffield Wednesday winger Ross Wallace has agreed to extend his stay with the Owls by signing an extension to his current contract.

According to local reports, the 31-year-old has added an extra year to the deal he signed during last season, which if correct, will see him contracted to the club until the summer of 2018.

Wallace enjoyed a fantastic first season with the Owls in 2015/16, playing in almost 50 games with his consistent levels of performance creating plenty of goal scoring opportunities.

In addition to his playmaking and positional sense Wallace found the net 6 times, the majority of which were spectacular strikes and his performances in both legs of the play-off semi-final against Brighton were pivotal in helping the Owls secure a place at Wembley.
