Wood eyes City upset - exclusive

Wednesday are unbeaten in eleven games and are in superb form as they head to England's second city today although The Blues will no doubt want to take the points as they bid to get promotion to the Premiership automatically.

But defender Wood is far from concerned where Steve Bruce's men are in the table and is confident of bringing three points back north.

He told Footymad: "It doesn't matter to us where Birmingham are in the table, we don't care if it's their last home game as we want to go there to upset them. Our away form has been good this season so I can't see any reason why we can't go down there and win.

As the season draws to a close, many fans are wondering what will happen if Wednesday make the play-offs? What could have happened if the club got more wins in January? Woody is no different.

He added: "Our form in January was disappointing but its all ifs and buts - you can say that about any team but we have to really concentrate now on these next two games to squeeze in there."
