New signings David Lucas, Lee Bullen, Paul Heckingbottom, Guy Branston, Glenn Whelan, Jon-Paul McGovern and Lee Peacock get some of the 'preferred' 1-11 shirts while Matt Hamshaw and Chris Brunt have been 'promoted' to number 8 and 11 respectively.
Kim Olsen and Paul Smith move down the number list while Craig Armstrong has not been given a number at all.
The number 9 shirt has been left free for most likely Scott Taylor, who has admitted he wants to move to Wednesday if he can live around an hour away to be close to his ill father in London, or Steve MacLean.
But the number 15 shirt, which has been a bit of a bad luck omen for Wednesday players in the past, has not been given to any player.
Under-achievers Phil Scott, Patrick Blondeau, Regi Blinker, Andy Sinton, Shefki Kuqi and Juan Cobian are a small list of players who have been given the jersey which has bestowed bad luck on anyone who has wore it!
