Owls to face lower league opposition
Sheffield Wednesday's pre-season is starting to take shape with the confirmation of 3 matches.
Steve Bruce's side will visit Sincil Bank on Saturday 13th July where they will take on Lincoln City in a 1pm kick-off. The resurgent Imps will playing in League One next season having enjoyed another promotion campaign in 2018/19. Wednesday will also take a side to near neighbours Stocksbridge Park Steels on the same day for a 3pm kick-off.
The Owls will then travel to League Two team Northampton Town on Tuesday 16th July with kick-off at 7.30pm. The Cobblers finished in mid-table last season.
