7500 to travel to Barnsley

The Owls will take a massive contingent of over 7500 supporters when they go to Oakwell for the last game of 2006.

For the second successive trip to Barnsley, Wednesday will have 6000 fans in the North Stand behind the goal and the remainder of the supporters half way along the North Stand.

The last time The Owls made the short trip up to Oakwell, they were controversially denied a win when Lee Peacock's late header was ruled out two seasons ago.

Barnsley have stopped selling tickets on their official website as Wednesdayites are trying to get into the home ends after the club's allocation sold out.
