Boss eyes summer changes

Turner is getting more and more dejected as the season draws on and continues to cross those arms of his on the sidelines, but believes that Wednesday’s poor campaign is down to the stupidity of the players he himself has brought to the club.

He says: "The goals what we give away are usually basic errors and elementary mistakes but we have many, many problems, loads of situations to be sorted out but we can’t do it until the end of the season and I personally can’t wait to do that."

With nothing to play for apart from pride and perhaps getting the vast majority of supporters back on his side, Turner may gamble by playing some of the youngsters like new signing Chris Carr in against Colchester, Luton and QPR as the current players are not doing a job.

He added: "I may as well put some younger players in the team - at least I know I will get the right response from them and they will try to do the right things that are required.

"I have been telling some players week in, week out for a long period of time, it’s now coming towards the end of the season and they are still making the same mistakes and it is costing us."
